The kids menu was fine overall. My daughter liked the pancakes, but the options were basic and nothing really stood out. The price was fair, so I can’t complain too much there. Service was a little slow, and what annoyed me most was that it wasn’t clear what we were supposed to do next after being seated, wait for someone, order somewhere, grab our own stuff, etc. Not a bad quick stop with kids, but it wasn’t anything special.

There was plenty of parking and getting in and out was easy, so that part was fine. I guess I was just expecting a better overall experience, and it ended up feeling a bit disappointing.

I was just there recently, and the tables were really clean. that stood out to me right away and made the place feel a lot more comfortable

I’ve ordered from Black Bear Diner a few times now. Always good. Big portions. Food tastes fresh. The pancakes are probably my favorite. So good. Even the eggs and bacon were cooked right, which doesn’t always happen at diners. Nothing fancy. Just solid comfort food. Hits the spot. I’ll definitely keep going back.

We stopped in for a meal and ended up being happy with the drink choices too. I got a coffee, and it actually came out nice and hot, which I always appreciate. Someone else at the table had a soda and said it tasted fresh, not flat or watered down. The real winner, though, was the lemonade, my kid took one sip and was instantly a fan. It was one of those small things that made the meal feel easy and enjoyable. No complaints from us at all

I ordered online from Black Bear Diner and everything came exactly how I entered it, which surprised me in the best way. No missing sides, the eggs were cooked right, and they even remembered the extra gravy. Pickup was easy too, which I really appreciated. Has anyone else had the same issue where they usually feel like they have to check the bag a bunch of times before leaving? This time I didn’t need to, and it was so nice.

I went to Black Bear Diner in my wheelchair and it was fine, but not exactly easy. The entrance worked and the staff did help a little, which I appreciated. Once I was inside though, getting between the tables was tight. The bathroom was technically accessible, but there wasn’t much space to turn around. Food was okay. I just wish the place was laid out a bit better for wheelchairs because

I was kind of surprised by how slow the service was today. I just popped in expecting things to move like usual, but it took longer than I thought. Not a huge deal, but definitely something I noticed.

I ordered dinner through blackbeardiner.com and it was smooth. The menu loaded without any trouble, checkout didn’t take long, and my food was ready when I showed up. Nothing fancy, just easy and it worked well. I’d use it again

Except this time, a couple things we saw online weren’t actually available at our local location. So we got there and had to rethink it. Not the end of the world. Just a little annoying when you already had a meal in your head.

The desserts were actually my favorite part. I loved all the pie choices, and my kids went straight for the bear claw. It was so good.

I really liked the vibe in here. The bear decor and old-school diner look make the place feel fun and kinda cozy. It’s not fancy or anything, just a comfortable spot that’s nice to hang out in.

I really appreciate that Black Bear Diner serves breakfast even when it’s not ridiculously early, because some of us are not trying to win an award for being awake at sunrise.

Went to Black Bear Diner last weekend and the food was good. The service was... okay, I guess. Our server was friendly enough, but they seemed super busy, so drinks and refills took a while. Nobody was rude or anything, so I don’t want to make it sound worse than it was. We just felt a little ignored here and there. I’d probably still go back, but hopefully they have more staff next time or check in on tables a bit more.

I paid and it went through right away. No problems, no weird delays, just done.

But they had everything — breakfast, burgers, dinners, lighter options, so at least it wasn’t hard for everyone at our table to find something. Portions were big too, which I appreciated.
